Roberta Stenhoff

Roberta Stenhoff, born March 22, 1937, died Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Mike; three children, Mike, Lacey and Meredith; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

I could list her accomplishments, and there were many in our 60 years of marriage, but that’s not what Bert was about. She would always say that her children and grandchildren were her major accomplishments in life. Bert loved all of them unconditionally, and as her health was failing at the end, just a picture or the mention of their names brought a smile to her face. Loved them dearly.

For me, she was my high school sweetheart, a wonderful wife, my golfing buddy, tennis partner, and for 14 years a great traveling companion as we toured the country in our RV, but above all, Bert is the best friend I’ll ever have. I would give anything to hear one more time, “Good night, Hon, sleep tight. I’ll see you in the morning.”
