Trust the Torch!

As was the custom in the 19th century, firefighters – with the help of some citizens – push the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District’s new fire engine into Station 3 at 2900 Raffel Road in August 2022. In the 1800s, fire equipment was pulled by horses, which required firefighters to push their apparatus back into the station after each call. This tradition continues.
