Richard A. Hansen, 75, New Braunfels, Texas, formerly of Harvard, died Friday, April 8, 2016, at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 14, 1941, to Lawrence and Hilma (Anderson) Hansen in Harvard. On Sept. 28, 1963, he married Carol J. Peterson in Woodstock. He graduated from Alden-Hebron High School in 1959. He worked for Admiral Corp., Harvard, for more than 13 years. He then worked for Motorola in Schaumburg until being relocated in 1978 to the plant in Seguin, Texas, where he worked for more than 23 years. David J. Nell, 67, Wonder Lake, died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at JourneyCare Hospice Center, Woodstock. He was born April 20, 1948, to Robert “Bud” and Marilyn (Hopp) Nell. He married Susan Karamka. He was a mold maker for more than 50 years and loved his work. He loved cars and working on cars, especially his 1972 purple Corvette. In his retirement, he loved watching movies; James Bond and John Wayne were his favorites. He loved playing video games and passed that passion down to his children. Josephine Marcarello, 95, Woodstock, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at the Swedish American Hospital, Rockford, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 23, 1920, to James and Ida (Spagnoli) Ricci in Warren, Ohio.  On Nov. 26, 1949, she married the love of her life, Matthew Marcarello, and together they celebrated more than 60 years of marriage. She was active in service and Bible education work as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for more than 85 years. She was a very accomplished pianist and enjoyed sharing her gift of music with her family and friends. She was an avid reader, and she loved sewing, cooking and baking. Adeline Joan (Golbeck) Jackson,  Harvard, died March 31, 2016.  She was born in Chicago, and moved to McHenry in 1947 with her parents.  On May 24, 1952, she married Edward Jackson at St. Mary’s Church, McHenry. She retired from Ameritech after 27 years and, during her career, was presented with the Theodore N. Vail award for her outstanding helpful action in an emergency. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She and her husband enjoyed traveling. She especially enjoyed her travels to Europe. Marlene Joan (Walsh) Stock, 79, formerly of Woodstock, died Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley, Surprise, Ariz., after a battle with cancer. She was born May 9, 1936, to George and Matilda (Haley) Walsh in Newburgh, N.Y. She married Thomas Stock in 1956. After they were married, the couple lived in Woodstock until 1998 when they moved to Arizona, living in Prescott Valley and then Sun City West.  Early in life, she worked as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone in Newburgh and Woodstock. She earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in addictions counseling from Westbrook University in 2003 and worked as a substance-abuse and family counselor for 15 years. Gerald A. “Yogi” Bauman, 74, Union, died March 22, 2016, at JourneyCare Hospice Center, Woodstock.  He was born Oct. 14, 1941, to Arnold and Bernice (Piske) Bauman.  On April 13, 1968, he married Dora Munson Yardley. He was a proud 50-year member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, serving as an officer and president/business manager of Local 1035 from 1994 until his retirement in 1998. He was a long-standing member of the Union Lions Club and Woodstock Moose Lodge 1329.  He loved boating, fishing, camping with family and friends and playing golf.
