Loretta J. (Chasen) Jelen, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, in Woodstock.
She was born Sept. 17, 1926, in Chicago.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Louise) Jelen and Jerome (Beverly) Jelen; a daughter, Carol (Scott) Beers; three grandchildren, Ryan, Jessica and Jackie; and a brother, Walter Chasen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph; a sister, Violet Handzel; and her parents.
Visitation and Mass of Christian Burial were Nov. 23 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Crystal Lake. Interment was private. Arrangements were made by Davenport Family Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. Condolences can be sent to www.davenportfamily.com.
