Craig M. McConkey, 65, Lake in the Hills, died Friday, May 1, 2015, at Kindred Hospital, Sycamore.
He was born Aug. 3, 1949, to Robert and LaVerne (Trcka) McConkey in Berwyn.
He worked for many years at Shaeffer Spring in Elk Grove Village. He was a passionate Cubs fan and enjoyed interacting on the computer. He also enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include his mother, LaVerne Armiger; a sister, Patti (Greg) Eriksen; a nephew, Keith Eriksen; and a niece, Rachel Eriksen.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 9, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock.
