Woodstock High School ended its regular season with a sweep of rival Woodstock North May 4, defeating the Thunder 7-0 at home.

The win left the Blue Streaks undefeated in the Kishwaukee River Conference.

“This was our best performance of the year,” said Jacob Porter, WHS’ head coach.

Judy Roller, WNHS’ head coach, called the match “a bad loss for us.”

“We’ll put it behind us, and we are looking forward to conference on Saturday,” Roller said.

The Streaks and Thunder will play in the KRC boys tennis tournament May 13. WNHS is hosting. 

Marian Central placed third out of eight teams at the Crystal Lake Central Invite May 6, several days after defeating Rockford Lutheran 7-0 May 3. 

The Hurricanes play in the East Suburban Catholic Conference Tournament beginning May 12 at Benet Academy in Lisle. The ’Canes are ranked second in the ESCC.
