Woodstock Police Department

Charges are only accusations of crimes, and defendants are presumed innocent until proved guilty.

  • Salvador Hernandez Espinosa, 27, Woodstock, was arrested July 1 in the 200 block of North Benton Street on charges of criminal trespass to property, resisting a peace officer, and two counts of battery. Released after posting $100 bond. Court date Aug. 17. 
  • Kleiver A. Mejias Acosta, 29, Elgin, was arrested July 2 in the 2000 block of Lake Avenue on charges of driving with no valid driver’s license and driving with suspended registration. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Aug. 24.
  • Willian R. Lutuala Ugsha, 23, Chicago, was arrested July 3 on Sheila Street at North Seminary Avenue on charges of driving with no valid driver’s license, driving with no valid registration, and driving with cancelled, revoked, or suspended registration. Taken to jail. Bond $2,500. Court date Sept.7.
  • Jonathan R. Macshane, 27, McHenry, was arrested July 3 on Route 120 at Queen Anne Road on charges of driving while license revoked and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Aug. 18.
  • Sergei M. Lynn, 26, Woodstock, was arrested July 3 in the 3700 block of Doty Road on a charge of criminal damage to property. Taken to jail. Bond $100. Court date to be set. 
  • Vanesa J. Onate Espinoza, 32, Woodstock, was arrested July 3 in the 1200 block of Walden Oaks Apartment on charges of possession of a controlled substance and battery. Taken to jail. Bond and court date to be set. 
  • Wayne J. Christiansen, 76, Rockford, was arrested July 4 on Eastwood Drive near Irving Avenue on a charge of driving while license suspended. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Sept. 7. 
  • Jose L. Benitez Flores, 44, Woodstock, was arrested July 5 on Church Street at North Benton Street on charges of driving with no valid driver’s license, improper lane usage, and failure to signal when required. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Aug. 24.
  • Steven P. Langos, 33, Woodstock, was arrested July 6 in the 1200 block of Amber Court on charges of criminal damage to property and two counts of domestic battery. Taken to jail. Bond and court date to be set. 
  • Cliffino J. Washington, 22, Woodstock was arrested July 7 on Benton Street at Judd Street on a charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Taken to jail. Bond and court date to be set.
