Charges are only accusations of crimes, and defendants are presumed innocent until proved guilty.

  • Male juvenile, 16, Woodstock, was arrested Oct. 21 in the 600 block of West South Street on charges of possession of cannabis and improper lane usage. Released to parent. Court date to be set.
  • Gary A. Brenton, 33, Woodstock, was arrested Oct. 22 in the 300 block of North Seminary Avenue on charges of criminal trespass to residence and obstructing identification. Held on $100 bond. Court date Nov. 18.
  • David S. Whitman, 22, Lake in the Hills, was arrested Oct. 23 in the 3700 block of Doty Road on two charges of aggravated battery to a peace officer. Taken to jail. Bond and court date to be set.
  • Carlos J. Loyo-Sanchez, 23, Marengo, was arrested Oct. 26 in the 200 block of East Donovan Avenue on a charge of criminal damage to property. Release after posting $100 bond. Court date Nov. 18.

  • Rachel D. Frank, 28, Woodstock, was arrested Oct. 19 on charges of unlawful possession of cannabis/passenger, unlawful possession of cannabis of 10-30 grams, possession of controlled substance, and delivery/manufacture of cannabis of 10-30 grams.
