Woodstock Police Department

Charges are only accusations of crimes, and defendants are presumed innocent until proved guilty.

  • Elijah O. Dawkins, 22, Wonder Lake, was arrested June 17 near U.S. 47 and Lake Avenue on charges of possession of cannabis by driver, driving while uninsured, and improper lane usage. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Aug. 17. 
  • Anthony L. Castelluzzo, 50, transient, was arrested June 18 in the 100 block of North Eastwood Drive on a charge of criminal damage to property/starting a fire. Released after posting $100 bond. Court date July 20.
  • Gina M. Perry, 34, Woodstock, was arrested June 18 on Hayward Street at Judd Street on a McHenry County warrant charging failure to appear in court and on a Kane County warrant charging failure to appear in court. Taken to jail. Bonds $5,000 and $4,000. Court date to be set. 
  • Esteban Hernandez Landa, 27, Woodstock, was arrested June 19 on Country Club Road at Club Road on charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level over 0.08% percent, improper display of registration, and improper lane usage. Released after posting 10 percent of $1,000 bond and surrendering driver’s license. Court date July 27.
  • Brian A. Pesz, 37, Woodstock, was arrested June 20 in the 500 block of Leah Lane on a charge of aggravated battery to a peace office. Taken to jail. Bond and court date to be set. 
  • Darby L. Brown, 29, Woodstock, was arrested June 20 on North Madison Street at Church Street on charges of driving while license is suspended, driving while uninsured, and failure to wear a seat belt. Released after posting 10 percent of $2,500 bond. Court date Aug. 3.
