William Stanley Jiworsky

William Stanley Jiworsky, 66, Woodstock, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018, at his home.

He was born Dec. 17, 1951, in Chicago to Stanley and Sophie (Loban) Jiworsky.

He grew up in Chicago and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. He was known to be a character with a big heart. He loved to help people in need. He also loved spending time with his grandkids and attending their sporting activities. He was a great papa, dad, brother and mascot.

Survivors include a son, Josh Jiworsky; two daughters, Sarah Jiworsky and Allison Feurt; three grandchildren, Jonathan Perez, Elias Jiworsky and Vincent Jiworsky; and a sister, Mary Ann Andersen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends was held Feb. 16 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Interment was private in St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Chicago.
