William “Billy” J. Wedoff

William “Billy” J. Wedoff, 52, Sterling, formerly of Woodstock, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at  Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Unit at Centegra Specialty Hospital – Woodstock.

He was born Oct. 6, 1960, in Woodstock to Eugene J. and Dorothy H. (Gerleve) Wedoff.

The family would like to thank the staff and caretakers at Exceptional Care and Training Center, Sterling, for many years of loving care, as well as the staff at Hospice & Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois for their services.

Survivors include his mother, four brothers, Eugene (Peggy) Wedoff, Steven (Linda) Wedoff, Gary (Denise) Wedoff and Paul Wedoff; three sisters, Christine (Leo) Riley, Barbara (Larry) Durso and Mary Krager; and 16 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Dottie J. Wedoff.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock.

The Rev. Steven Clarke will officiate.

Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Woodstock.

Arrangements were made by Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
