Wanda L. Stidham

Wanda L. Stidham, 68, Woodstock, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, after a six-year battle with cancer.

She was born Aug. 25, 1948, in Anna, to Fred and Mildred (Miller) Stidham.

She worked for the Precision Twist Drill Company, Crystal Lake, and later Gru – Cut Tool, Cary, until her retirement.

Her strength and positive attitude made her an inspiration to everyone she encountered. She enjoyed traveling, photography, golf, baking, baseball and, of course, the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include her father; a brother, Larry Stidham; a sister, Judy Stidham; a nephew, Steve Stonick; a niece, Heather Charnota; and great-nieces, Tiffany Stonick and Cassandra Charnota.

She was preceded in death by her mother; and a brother, Ronald Stidham.

Per her request, no services will be held.

Arrangements were made by Schneider, Luecht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
