Vida M. Schneiderman

 

Vida M. Schneiderman, 93, Woodstock, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at the Hospice of Northeastern Illinois Inpatient Care Unit at Centegra Specialty Hospital – Woodstock.

She was born May 19, 1918, in Estelline, S.D., to George and Amanda (Miesel) Mohan.

On Oct. 13, 1936, she married Harm Schneiderman in South Dakota.

She was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and auto racing.

Survivors include two sons, Lloyd (Judith) Schneiderman and LeRoy (JoAnn) Schneiderman; a daughter, Evelyn (Al) Schneiderman; two daughters-in-law, Jean and Janet; a sister-in-law, Pearl Mohan; 17 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Melvin and Merlyn Schneiderman; two sisters, Clarys and Dolores; and two brothers, Willard and George.

Visitation and funeral were May 3 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

The burial was at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
