Thomas D. Harding, 73, Woodstock, died Monday, May 29, 2017, at Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock.
He was born Oct. 11, 1943, to George A. and Madeline (Arntz) Harding in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was a member of St. Mary Parish, Woodstock, where he served weekly as an usher. He graduated from Notre Dame University and played on the 1965 national football champion team.
He was a well-respected Woodstock businessman, joining his father and brother in the family business known as Harding Real Estate. Tom served as president of the Board of Realtors. He was an active member of the Marian Central High School Boosters Club for many years. He was active in the Woodstock community as well, a member of the Woodstock Rotary Club and the Woodstock Chamber of Commerce.
Survivors include: children, Bradley (Tricia) Harding, Andrew (Jocelyn) Harding, Stephen (Lisa) Harding and Tracy Harding; grandchildren, Kelsey Harding, Parker Harding, Signe Harding, Linzie Harding, Lauren Harding, Taylor Harding, Frank Bungay and Stella Bungay; a brother, John E. (Judy) Harding; and a sister, Mary Green; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Anne E. Harding.
Visitation was June 1 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. The funeral Mass was June 2 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery, Woodstock.
Memorials can be made to Marian Central High School or St. Mary Church.
