Steven P. Bartolone, 85, formerly of Woodstock, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, in Lincolnshire.
He was born Oct. 3, 1927, in Chicago to Salvatore and Rose (Speciale) Bartolone.
On Nov. 6, 1954, he married Dolores Marie Waldmueller in Chicago.
He was a proud World War II U.S. Army veteran. He will be missed and his memory will be cherished.
Survivors include four sons, Steven (Doreen) Bartolone, Ingleside, Michael (Linda) Bartolone, McHenry, William Bartolone, Woodstock and John (Jennie) Bartolone, South Carolina; two daughters, Susan (Michael) Rankin, Greenville, S.C., and Julie (James) Wagner, Vernon Hills; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Domenica “Mae” Rinozzi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Visitation was Dec. 7 at Colonial Funeral Home, McHenry. The funeral Mass was Dec. 8 at St. Mary’s Church, McHenry. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society.
