Shirley A. Hunter

Shirley A. Hunter, 83, Faribault, Minn., died Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017, at District One Hospital, Faribault.

She was born June 27, 1934, in Crystal Lake, to Arnold and Hazel (Bird) Ehlert. She graduated from Woodstock High School.

She married Robert K. Hunter Dec. 11, 1954, in Chicago. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and “coffee hour” with her friends.

Survivors include her children, Sandra  Hunter, Faribault, and Paul Hunter, Davenport, Fla.; three grandchildren, Josh Southworth, Ryan (Megan) Southworth and Sara Southworth; one great-granddaughter, Riley Southworth; tand wo sisters, Janet (Phil) Parker, Woodstock, and Patricia (Robert) Hahn, Marengo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jan. 31, 2017.

Memorial donations can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association of Minnesota-North Dakota, 7900 W. 78th St., Minneapolis, MN 55439.
