Shelly Ann (Emricson) Eslick, 63

Shelly Ann (Emricson) Eslick, age 63, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, devotion, and cherished memories.  She was born April 5, 1963 in Woodstock, IL to LaVern Emricson and Charlotte (Hunt) Emricson. 

Shelly graduated from Harvard High School in 1981 and went on to dedicate 42 years to her family business, Emtech Machining & Grinding, in Woodstock. Her strong work ethic and steadfast commitment were a reflection of her character and the pride she took in supporting her family and community.

On April 1, 1987, Shelly was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Tom Eslick. Together they shared 39 years of love, partnership, and unwavering devotion, building a life centered on family.

Shelly was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Woodstock, the Moose Lodge 1329, and the Woodstock Professional and Business Women organization. She also proudly served on the Groundhog Days Committee, giving her time and energy to a beloved community tradition. 

Shelly is survived by her mother, Charlotte Emricson, her devoted husband, Tom, her children; Bryson (Yesenia) Calvin, Jessica Eslick, Amy (Chris) Thompson and Jeremy Eslick, and her grandchildren; Ivy and Remy Calvin, Kyle Vaughn and Alex August.  She is also survived by her siblings; Steve (Melody) Emricson, Sharon (Dan) McMillan, Sara (Denny) Jackson, and Susan Milanko, her mother-in-law, Verna Eslick, along with many extended family members and dear friends.

She was welcomed into heaven by her father, LaVern Emricson, and her father-in-law, Glen Eslick.

Shelly will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the kindness and generosity she so freely shared with those around her. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Shelly’s life will be held at a later date. Her family encourages those who knew her to honor her memory by holding their loved ones close and cherishing the special moments they shared with her.
