He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Jean Northrup; a brother, Leland Osborne; and a brother-in-law, Larry Slaymaker.

There was a celebration of life gathering and service Nov. 5 at the Villa Desiderata Retreat House, McHenry.

Memorials can be made to Villa Desiderata Retreat House or Home of the Sparrow, both of McHenry.

Arrangements were made by Justen Funeral Home & Crematory.
