Rosemarie (Green) Sahs

Rosemarie (Green) Sahs, 86, Woodstock, died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Hearthstone Manor. She was born March 7, 1931, in Woodstock.

On Sept. 30, 1950, she married Wayland Sahs in Woodstock.

She was a homemaker most of her life and took pleasure in raising her four sons. She welcomed everyone in her home with a smile, never turning anyone away. She was an avid reader and loved playing cards with her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending the winter in Florida with friends and family.

Survivors include three sons, Richard (Tina) Sahs, Gary (Diane) Sahs and Philip Sahs; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Anthony “Tony” James Sahs.

A private memorial for the family will be at a later date.
