Robert D. Tompkins, 78, Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Woodstock, died July 5, 2014, in Arizona.
He was born Jan. 24, 1936.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Birk); two sisters, Hylah Pollock, Nampa, Idaho, and Gladys Keenen, Lowell, Ark.; and three sons from a previous marriage, Dean, Duane and Danny Hummell, all of Kane County.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. until the memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, at the Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock.
Arrangements were made by Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, Glendale, Ariz.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
