Ralph R. Robinett Jr., 88, Ocala, Fla., formerly of Woodstock, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in Ocala.

He was born March 30, 1926, to Ralph R. and Ada M. (Perrott) Robinett Sr. in Woodstock.

On Aug. 20, 1948, he married Charlene Lubben. She died July 23, 1988. On Nov. 30, 1994, he married Joan L. Daly.

He served in World War II. He was a graduate of Iowa State University and worked with his father on the family farm for many years. He then began a career with Brown Manufacturing and later with the Mathews Company. 

An avid golfer, he was a past member of the Woodstock Country Club where he served as club president in 1965 and where he won 14 club championships between 1962 and 1983. He also managed to score 13 holes-in-one during his golfing career. 

Survivors include his wife, Ocala; two sons, Donald (Kristine) Robinett, Woodstock, and David (Tamalee) Robinett, Woodstock; two daughters, Denise (John) Donahue, Woodstock, and Darlene (Kurt) Hoffman, Ocala; two stepsons, Kurt Foote and Karl (Rachel) Foote; 16 grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) Edmondston, Zachary (Meredith) Robinett, Gretchen Heeren, Marni Wenck, Ian Wenck, Joshua (Laurie) Robinett, Jamieson Robinett, Alyssa (Michael) Rosati, Sean (Johanna) Donahue, Mollie (Thomas) Stark, Brian Donahue, Robert (Daniela) Hoffman, Roy (Beth) Hoffman, Randy (Jin) Hoffman, Ryan (Allison) Hoffman and Rebecca Hoffman; 17 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a niece, four nephews; and a sister- and brother-in-law, Patricia (Gale) Ford.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Charlene; a daughter, Diane R. Wenck; a sister, Florence Hoyt, and her husband, Wilson Hoyt; and a brother, Wayne Robinett.

Arrangements are being made for services to be held in June 2015.
