Patricia E. Gohl

Patricia E. Gohl, 88, Crystal Lake, died Friday, May 29, 2015, at Bickford Assisted Living, Crystal Lake.

She was born April 19, 1927, to Everett and Endora (Olund) Bearce in Chicago.

On March 29, 1952, she married Norman Gohl.

She lived for many years in the Des Plaines and Arlington Heights areas. She was involved in many different church circles. She also was an active volunteer for organizations, including Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Amicus Society and Advocate Charitable Foundation.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan G. (the Rev. David) McCurdy; two grandchildren, Margaret (McKay) Wood and Douglas McCurdy; and her caregivers for many years, godson Ken (Shirley) Koehler, and her cousin Karen Koehler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Robert Bearce.

The visitation and funeral were June 5 at the First Congregational Church. The Rev. Arn Schaper officiated. Interment was private at Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines.
