Miguel Verastique

Miguel Verastique, 69, Woodstock, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.

He was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Cotulla, Texas, to Ismael and Hortencia (Martinez) Verastique.

He enjoyed life, loved to laugh and make others laugh and loved his family and many friends. He will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife, Maria Verastique; three sons, Michael Verastique, Tony Verastique and Carlos Mejia; a daughter, Melinda Verastique; four grandchildren, Jantzen, Jordan, Hannah and Reid; three brothers, Geranimo Verastique, Carlos Villarreal and Rudy Alafita; a sister, Criselda Verastequi; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gustavo Villarreal.

Visitation was Nov. 7 and 8. The funeral was Nov. 8 at the funeral home. Burial was at McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
