Marian M. Zimmermann, 90

Marian M. Zimmermann, 90, of Woodstock, died Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Crystal Lake.

She was born in Sheboygan, Wis., on June 5, 1931, to Paul and Marie (Liebel) Mundt. She married Charles Zimmermann on Dec. 5, 1981.

She was a long and active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Woodstock, and she sang in the choirs for over 50 years. She was involved in Mariola and Home and School and was a member of the Ladies of the Knights. Marian also was involved with the V-J Day celebration held for many years in Woodstock. She also was very involved with the Woodstock 4^th of July celebration. She was loved and will be missed.

Marian is survived by a son, Craig (Sandra) Fillion; two daughters, Jeanne (Michael) Gannon and Reeda Fillion; three grandchildren, Tina (Kurt) Vavra, Todd (Amy) Gannon, and Nicholas Fillion; great-grandchildren, Conlan, Tyce, Allison, and Peyton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation for Marian will be Tuesday, March, 8, 2022, starting at 9 a.m, until the funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 312 Lincoln Ave., Woodstock. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Woodstock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either St. Mary Catholic Church or St Jude Children Hospital.
