Margo (Poston) Monteau, 92, Woodstock, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Autumn Leaves Assisted Living, Crystal Lake.
She was born May 27, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio.
On Jan. 6, 1945, she married Levi “Monty” Monteau in Livermore, Calif.
She worked for Consolidated Aircraft in San Diego where she met her husband. They lived in many cities around the United States.
She moved to Illinois in 2009.
Survivors include a son, David (Rebecca) Monteau; a daughter, Susan Kleinhans; four grandchildren, Laura Jones, Monty (Amy) Monteau, Phillip Monteau and Zachariah Rayburn; and a great-grandson, Ben Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years; a brother, Charles Poston; and a son, Randy Monteau.
Visitation and the funeral were May 8 at Schenider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
The burial was at Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
