Lynda Sue George, Woodstock

Lynda Sue George, 68, Woodstock, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, after a short illness.

She was an amazing woman who put her family above all else. She raised four strong children, almost all by herself, teaching them about God and His grace, a grace that loved us so much that He allowed His only Son our Lord Jesus Christ to die so we can all be reunited together again one day, giving us the greatest hope of all.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, teaching them crocheting, puzzles and how to whistle. And she shared her love for Christmas tree decorating with them.

Survivors include four children, Rinda (Dave) Gersch, Debra Johnson, Rebekah (Eric) Beck and Robert (Stephane) Ezerski; 11 grandchildren, Katie (Ben) Erickson, Karissah (Rob) Holmes, Kelsey (Daniel) Collins, Logan Johnson, Connor Johnson, Molly Johnson, Alli Beck, Arvi Beck, Aria Beck, Grace, Ezerski and Claire Ezerski; four great-grandchildren; her beloved puppy, Georgie; and many lifelong friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Allison Marie; and her parents, Leo and Cassie.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
