Linda L. Sankey, 62, Woodstock, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2014, at Centegra Hospital-Woodstock surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 2, 1951, to Curtis and Lucille (Miller) Blaine in Oak Park.
On June 14, 1969, she married Eugene Sankey in Woodstock.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Hartland. She enjoyed doing yard work and gardening at her home. She enjoyed spending time in the pool, especially with her grandchildren. Fontana Lake in North Carolina was her favorite vacation destination. She also enjoyed going shopping.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Scott (Janna) Sankey; a daughter, Kristi (Don) Lewis; four grandchildren, Carlin, Austin, Caelynn and Curtis; and a brother, John Blaine.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Liam.
All services were private.
