John William Tentler, 31, formerly of Woodstock, died Aug. 19, 2012, in Chicago.
He was born Feb. 14, 1981, in Euclid, Ohio, to John and Nancy (Kurzinger) Tentler.
After moving to Illinois, he attended Woodstock High School and pursued a career in radio air sales.
Survivors include his daughter, Kailie Tentler; two brothers, Dewayne and Ken Tentler; and a sister, Kim (Matt) Rollins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, at Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodstock D.A.R.E. program, 656 Lake Ave., Woodstock.
