Jennie Lynn Bye, 45, Huntley

Jennie Lynn Bye, 45, Huntley, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016.

She was born Nov. 29, 1970, to Dale and Connie (Streit) Bye in Woodstock.

She played college softball at MCC and ISU and obtained several scholarships toward her education.  She was also an excellent volleyball player.  She received a bachelor’s degree from ISU, majoring in law and criminal justice. With this knowledge, she went on to specialize in real estate investment properties and became a mortgage loan officer.

Survivors include a daughter, Taylor Bye; a son, Camden Quiros; her parents; a sister, Tammy Popaeko; a nephew, Brandon Walsh; her faithful companion, Michael Quiros; his son, Connor (Brittany) Quiros; and his grandson, Bayden Quiros; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friends, Tami Soto and Kricki Henderson.

She was preceded in death by a son, Parker Bye.

Visitation was Aug. 5 at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. The funeral was Aug. 6 at the funeral home. All other services were private.
