Jennie Lynn Bye, 45, Huntley, died Monday, Aug. 1, 2016.
She was born Nov. 29, 1970, to Dale and Connie (Streit) Bye in Woodstock.
She played college softball at MCC and ISU and obtained several scholarships toward her education. She was also an excellent volleyball player. She received a bachelor’s degree from ISU, majoring in law and criminal justice. With this knowledge, she went on to specialize in real estate investment properties and became a mortgage loan officer.
But her real role in life was being a mother. For years, she enjoyed coaching her daughter’s softball team and took time off work to raise her son. She was a loving and selfless person with the strength and determination to accomplish anything, and she will be missed by all who knew her.
