Jeanette C. Sweet, 95, Woodstock, died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Valley Hi Nursing Home, Woodstock.
She was born Jan. 17, 1921, to Arthur and Emma (May) Hergott in Spring Grove.
On Nov. 25, 1944, she married Mark Sweet.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock. She worked at Woodstock Die Cast Company for more than 30 years and was a longtime member of the Woodstock Moose Lodge. Mostly, she enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed.
Survivors include two sons, Sandy Sweet and David (Sue) Sweet; two daughters, Connie (Don) Hyde and Laurie Sweet; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and the Jackson girls.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Patricia A. Henke; a grandson, Brian Henke-Blue; and five siblings.
Visitation and the funeral Mass were April 18 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock. Interment was in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock.
