Jason W. Learman, 45, Woodstock, died in an automobile accident Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015.
He was born May 5, 1970, in Woodstock to Fredrick and Kathleen (Buffington) Learman.
He married Candice Saputa July 1, 1995, in Algonquin.
He worked at Old World Millworks in Maple Park. He received his Bachelor in Business Management from Columbia College. He loved sports and especially loved working part-time in the sports department at The Woodstock Independent. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Amber Learman; a son, Benjamin Learman; his parents; three brothers, Fred (Diane) Learman Jr., Michael (Christine) Learman and Steven Learman; his father- and mother-in-law, Glenn and Laurie Saputa; his mother-in-law, Debbie Todorich; a paternal grandmother, Marie Learman; his wife’s grandparents, Alex and Loretta Saputa; nieces and nephews, Cayla, Michael Jr., Andrea, Cameron, Nichole and Allie; a sister-in-law, Danielle Saputa; and two brothers-in-law, A.J. Saputa and Dominic (Nathalie) Saputa.
He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
A memorial gathering will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Grace Lutheran Church, 1300 Kishwaukee Valley Road, Woodstock, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m.
Burial will be private.
Memorials can be made to the family for the benefit of the children.
