James “Jimmy” B. Sagen

James “Jimmy” B. Sagen, 61, Woodstock, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Centegra Hospital — Woodstock.

He was born April 30, 1950, in Monroe Wis., to Paul and Phyllis Sagen. He married Mary Marden Jan. 15, 2005, in Woodstock.

He was a veteran, having served in the US Air Force. He worked for the FAA as an air traffic controller.

He was preceded in death by his aunt and uncle, Helen and Clarion Sagen.

Survivors include his wife; his son, James L. Sagen; his grandson James J. Sagen; and his stepson, Frankie Herron; as well as many other family members and numerous friends.

A visitation was held March 9, at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock. A visitation and funeral service were held March 10 at the funeral home. Interment was at the Luther Valley Cemetery, Beloit, Wis.
