Helen E. Caprio, 94, Woodstock, died Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Centegra Hospital – Woodstock.
She was born Jan. 3, 1921, to Gerardo and Carmella (Catalano) Gogliotti in Chicago.
On June 15, 1940, she married Nick F. Caprio.
Survivors include three sons, Michael (MaryLou) Caprio, Richard (Barbara) Caprio and Ronald (Georgie) Caprio; a daughter, MaryAnn (Robert) Wiszowaty; five grandchildren, DeAnn, Gina, Carrie, Alisa and Rita; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Rocco Liotti; three sisters, Mary Godek, Angela Anderson and Jeannette Fuechsl.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation was Oct. 15 at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home. The funeral was Oct. 16 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock, with the Rev. Jhakson Garcia Mendez officiating.
Burial was at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock.
