Hazel M. Hickey

 

Hazel M. Hickey, 86, Rockford, formerly of Woodstock, died April 19, 2012 at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center, Rockford. 

She was born June 3, 1925, in Boscobel, Wis., to John W. and Freda O. (Collins) Clark.

On June 20, 1953, she married John E. Hickey in Woodstock.

She was a member of Woodstock’s First United Methodist Church and also was  a member of the VFW Post 5040 Ladies Auxiliary. 

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Julie (Mark) Brenner; and three grandchildren, Mark (April) Brenner Jr., Andrew (Samantha) Brenner and Jessica Brenner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Nov. 26, 1982; and a brother, Richard Clark.

All services were private.

Memorials can be made to the Fairhaven Christian Retirement Center, 3470 N. Alpine Rd., Rockford, IL 61114.
