Greta B. Carlisle, 101, Woodstock, died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Hearthstone Manor, Woodstock.
She was born Nov. 18, 1915, to Mark A. and Lulu M. (Francisco) Hutson in Woodstock.
On Oct. 24, 1936, she married James R. Carlisle at St. Mary Catholic Church, Woodstock.
She was a devout Catholic and a lifetime member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where she served with several ministries.
Survivors include: a son, Dr. Eugene (Phyllis) Carlisle, LaCross Wis.; two daughters, Mary Berkeimer, Phoenix, and Bernice Nevismal, Woodstock; 17 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Thomas Carlisle and Philip Carlisle; and three grandsons, Walter Berkeimer, Robert Carlisle and Timothy Carlisle.
A graveside service was celebrated May 31 at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Woodstock.
Arrangements were made by Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
