Francis J. Dougherty

Francis ‘Frank’ J. Dougherty, 64, Woodstock, formerly of Allentown, Pa., died Thursday, May 12, 2012.

He was born Sept. 28, 1947, to Leo and Pauline Dougherty.

On May 11, 1985, he married Anke Jessen Dougherty.

He was a veteran of the United States Navy, a Corvette enthusiast, construction superintendent, animal lover and avid cook.

He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Allentown, Pa.; his wife, Woodstock; four children, Patrick (Jennifer) Dougherty, Colleen (Cullen) Bailey, Kelly Dougherty and Brenden Dougherty; four grandchildren, Nickolas Dougherty, Lillian, Odin and Eleanor Bailey; and several aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The visitation and memorial service were May 18 at Grace Lutheran Church, Woodstock.
