Evelyn K. Rutherford

Evelyn K. Rutherford, 80, Wonder Lake, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at her home.

She was born July 21, 1932, in Chicago to Walter and Mary (Zgrzebnicka) Ksiazek.

She moved to Wonder Lake in 1991. 

She was employed as a clerk for Illinois Bell, downtown Chicago, for 30 years and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She enjoyed tending her flower garden.

Survivors include two nieces, Gerry (Tom) Crawford, Fox Lake, and Christine (Kraig) Barkley, Crystal Lake; and many great-nieces and -nephews and great-great-nieces and -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Rutherford, in 2000; her parents; a sister, Lottie Pasko; two brothers, Chuck and Felix; and a nephew, Robert Pasko.

Visitation was Dec. 3 at Justen’s Wonder Lake Funeral Home, followed by the funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, Wonder Lake.

Interment will be in Christ the King Cemetery, Wonder Lake.
