Erma Rose Hunt Beam

Erma Rose Hunt Beam, 95, San Jose, Calif., formerly of Woodstock, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018.

She was born May 18, 1922, in Woodstock

After graduating from Woodstock High School, she made her home in Dayton, Ohio, for more than 40 years, working for the U.S. Postal Service from 1964 to 1987.  She moved to California in 1989.

She outlived her immediate family and generation.

Survivors include three daughters; a son; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, many of whom reside in Woodstock.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Services will be held in Ohio at a later date.
