Eileen L. White

Eileen L. White, 66, Woodstock, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at her home.  

She was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Chicago to Roy and Lauretta (Larson) Homo. 

On March 26, 1966, she married James White at the First United Methodist Church in McHenry.

She graduated from McHenry High School in 1964.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Woodstock, the McHenry American Legion Post 491 Auxiliary, Viscounts Drum and Bugle Corps,  and the Kishwaukee Valley Garden Club.

She owned Hen House Crafts, was active with the Small Drum Corps Association and had marched in the color guard of the Royal Airs Drum and Bugle Corps.

She loved time with her family and was her husband’s fishing buddy.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Timothy (Sherri) White, Bracey, Va.; two daughters, Lynette (Jason) Carlock, Alexandria, Va., and Kristen White, Bloomington; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa, Alayna, Amyelia, Alex, Aric, Adyn and James; two great-grandchildren, Brielle and Ava; a brother, Kenneth (Cookie) Homo; a sister, Janet (Jeffrey) Hubbard; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Judith O’Halleran.

A gathering for family and friends was Nov. 25 at Colonial Funeral Home, McHenry. Interment was private.
