Eddie Glyn Hardgrave

Eddie “Ed” Glyn Hardgrave, 62, Wonder Lake, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at his home.

He was born June 24, 1950,  in Bloomfield, Mo., to Girthal and Bobbie Hardgrave. 

He was a hardworking man and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, fishing and building models. He will be missed by many.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Barbara (Erickson); three daughters, Susan (Kenny) Erickson, Laura (John) Franks and Jamie (Chris Colby) Hardgrave; 10 grandchildren, Nicollette, Dominic, Brianna, Logan, Austin, Colton, Masion, Cade, Cassidy and Hunter; a great-granddaughter, Giovanna; and a brother, Harold.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation  and a memorial service were held July 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, Crystal Lake.

A private burial will be held in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., at a later date.
