Donald Thomas Frozley, 84, Grand Rapids, Mich., formerly of Woodstock, passed away Dec. 27, 2021, in Grand Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Retha; two children, Steve (Carolyn) of Grand Rapids and Greg (Alison) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren; and sister, Diane Nelson of Phoenix.
Don graduated from St. Mary High School in 1956, where he played football and ran track. He then joined the United States Marine Corps. After the service he attended and graduated from Southern Illinois University. From there he went on to work many years in the restaurant business.
He enjoyed hunting, golfing, photography, and playing racquetball. Don was also a huge fan of the Chicago Bears and always hoped for a playoff game.
Mass of Christian burial was held in Grand Rapids, Mich., Dec. 30, 2021.
