Dolores M. Meyer, 85, died Tuesday, July 3, at Valley Hi Nursing Home, Woodstock.
She was born Jan. 7, 1927, in Chicago, to William and Teresa Schlitt. She grew up in McCullom Lake and attended McHenry Community High School.
In 1946, she married Harold M. Meyer in McHenry. She became a resident of Valley Hi Nursing Home in 2010.
Survivors include a brother, William (Catherine) Schlitt, Fort Worth, Texas; two daughters, Barbara A. Meyer, Portland, Ore., and Karen (Joel) Just, Elk Grove; three sons, Harold “Harry” Meyer, Yellville, Ark., John (Sandra) Meyer, Woodstock, and Joe (Linda) Meyer, Marengo; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation and funeral were held July 6 at the Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
Burial was at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Chicago.
