Daniel Z Kreisman, 70, of Woodstock, Ill., passed away on April 5, 2021, at Avondale Estates in Elgin, Ill.
A lover of theatre, history, and astronomy, Dan had a vibrant and lively spirit that lifted up all those around him. In 2005, Dan married Lynne (Milleson) Kreisman, whom he considered the love of his life. Sadly, Lynne passed in late 2020.
Dan is survived by his children, Todd (Erin) Kreisman, Kim (Rob) Scharlow, and Jordan (Casie) Kreisman; his grandchildren, Aiden, Oliver, and Evelyn; his brother, Norm (Terri) Kreisman; his cherished dog, Poochini; and by a host of extended family and dear and close friends who mourn his passing.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife, Lynne; his parents, Albert and Elaine Kreisman; and his brother, Jack Kreisman.
Pursuant to his wishes, Dan has been cremated, and his remains will be buried in a plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, Wis., alongside Lynne. A celebration of Dan’s life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that any donations in honor of Dan’s memory be made to either the American Cancer Society or the American Historical Association.
