Cynthia L. Ray, 49, Woodstock, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017, at JourneyCare Hospice-Woodstock, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Jan. 22, 1968, in Oak Park, to Jerry and Nina Ray.
She worked at Catalent Pharma Solutions, Woodstock, and was a member of the Woodstock Moose. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed the times she spent with her two nephews and niece.
Survivors include her mother; a brother, Michael (Barbie Gale) Ray, Hoffman Estates; a sister, Annette (Tom) Grell, Woodstock; two nephews, Tyler Ray and Jerred Grell; a niece, Ali Grell; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Ray; and four grandparents.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, until the 11 a.m. celebration of life service at Schneider, Leucht, Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave., Woodstock. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery, Woodstock.
