Cassidy Star Corcoran

Cassidy Star Corcoran, 24, Woodstock, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Chicago. She was born Dec. 25, 1992, to Patrick Joseph and Deborah (Carrasco) Corcoran in Arlington Heights.

She was the brightest star, born on Christmas day and was the most beautiful girl in the world. Her passions included the ocean and oceanography, painting rocks, horses and nature. She loved to write stories and poems and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her mother; a sister, Sommer Skye Corcoran; an aunt, Cynthia (Al) Voras; and an uncle, Bill (Sylvia) Carrasco.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation was June 19 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, Crystal Lake. The funeral Mass was June 20 at the Church of Holy Apostles, McHenry. Interment was private.
