Carolina P. Flood

Carolina P. Flood, 80, Woodstock, formerly of New Orleans, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, in Woodstock. She was born Oct. 23, 1933, to Vicente and Carolina (Estevenez) Platero in the Philippines . 

 

On May 19, 1954, she married Mayland D. Flood in Manila. 

She enjoyed gardening. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia and Catherine Flood; a son, Mayland P. Flood; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Flood Davis and Richard Flood; a sister, Lordes Arellano; and two brothers, George and Jose Platero.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jan. 27, 2014.; a son, William Flood; and a grandson, Joseph Flood.

A visitation will be held at 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14, until the funeral at 1p.m. at Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, 1211 N. Seminary Ave. Burial will be at McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery.
