Candace Ann McNulty

Candace Ann McNulty, 61, Woodstock, died Monday, June 4, 2012, at her home.

She was born May 1, 1951, in Chicago to Raymond and Bernice (Somers) Cook.  

On October 4, 1969, she married James Patrick “Pat” McNulty. 

She overcame many challenges during her life, including a victory over breast cancer in 2010.  She was a tireless worker and provider for her family. Her career included extensive work as a medical billing specialist. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and taking trips to Ireland. 

Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was considered “Fifth Sister” to her cousins, Theresa, Catherine, Rosemary and Patricia Scott.

Survivors include three sons, Mark (Alexa) McNulty, Lake Villa, Michael (Mary) McNulty, Hebron, and Matthew (Christine) McNulty, Wonder Lake;  and seven grandchildren, Rachel, Ally, Lauren, Hannah, Jade, Abigail and James.  

She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years and her parents.

The visitation and Mass were June 7 at St. Mary Catholic Church,Woodstock, with arrangements by Schneider-Leucht-Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.

Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Woodstock.
