Bridget Erin “Bree” McAndrews, 42, of Chicago, formerly of Woodstock, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at home.
Bridget was born Feb. 26, 1976, in Rockford. She graduated from Woodstock High School in 1994 and attended the University of Arizona in Tucson and Truman College, Chicago. Bridget loved traveling and had worked in the industry as a travel agent and as a flight attendant for Air Wisconsin. A lifelong Cubs fan, she most recently worked at Wrigley Field and cherished the World Series ring she received in 2016.
Bridget is survived by her parents, Kitty Sullivan McAndrews, of Chicago, and Tom and Caryn McAndrews, of Woodstock; a sister, Megan (Justin) Davis, of Champaign; a stepsister, Emily (Danny) Kidd, of North Aurora; a nephew, Ian Kidd, of North Aurora; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; an aunt, Peggy Robelet; and an uncle Jimmy McAndrews.
Bridget was an avid Chicago sports fan, and also enjoyed music, especially Dave Matthews Band and the Grateful Dead. She was an animal lover, and adored her rescue cat, Willow. Bridget also spent her free time baking and crafting cards for family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the start of the 11:30 a.m. celebration of life service Saturday, June 30 at Schneider Leucht Merwin & Cooney Funeral Home, Woodstock.
