Bobbi Lile Davis, 65

It is with sadness that the family of Bobbi Lile Davis announces her unexpected passing on May 3, 2020, after suffering medical complications from an illness.
Bobbi was born in Woodstock on Nov. 3, 1954, the first child of Arthur and Donna (BeGole) Lile. In 1983, she married Charles A. Davis of Greenwood.
She was a 1972 graduate of Woodstock Community High School. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree at Northern Illinois University and a MSW at George Williams College. She had retired as a social worker for the Special Education District of McHenry County after many years.
Bobbi lived in Woodstock nearly all her life and resided in several homes within blocks of each other. She was “the face” of many of the local print advertisements created by Don Peasley and Associates in the 1970s. She built a lifetime of close friendships with an amazing group of women from the ’hood, affectionately known as “the Hens.”
Bobbi is survived by her two sons, Charles Davis and Michael Davis; mother, Donna (Paul) Zopfi; sisters, Brenda (Tim) Holland and Bonni (John) Titgemeyer; sister-in-law, Cynthia (William) Walkington; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was preceded by her father, husband, mother-in-law (Wilna Davis), father-in-law (Charles B. Davis), and sister-in-law, Lindy Austin.
Due to COVID-19, the gravesite service will be attended by immediate family only. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G Komen Foundation.
