Betty Marie Leslie, 79, a longtime resident of Woodstock died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at her home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1934, in Coldrum County in Minnesota to Edgar William and Marie Cecilia (Korll) Anderson.

She had a strong faith and great belief in family values that was evident in her public and private life. She and her husband were active members of the Resurrection Parish, and she was a frequent volunteer at the First Way Life Center, Johnsburg.

She was a devoted mother, and since she loved to travel, she enjoyed visits with her children in far off places, such as Europe, Africa and Thailand and throughout the US.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Albert in 2008 after 47 years of marriage and by her parents.

Survivors include four daughters, Marie (William) Schretzmann, Andrea (Steve) Fraley, Kirsten and Regina; a son John (Sukhon) Leslie; five grandchildren Faith, Rangsiman, Patrick, Methani and Elizabeth; a sister, Karen; and a brother, Gordon.

Visitation was Dec. 4 at Resurrection Church, and the funeral was Dec. 5. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.
